Swing Tips

To be a great iron player who consistently compresses the ball it is so important to keep your lead foot down all of the way through the swing. The divot should be on the target side of the ball and to do this that foot needs to be anchored to the ground. In baseball you squash the bug under your back foot and in golf I teach my students to squash the bug under their front foot. Assuming the ball position is in the middle of your stance try this visual and you will hit it more solid.

Testimonials

"Matt has completely changed the direction of not just my golf career but my life. I have been working with him now for over 2 years and I have learned so much from him in that time. There’s no doubt in my mind he was a big part of the reason for my high school success and my opportunities outside of high school. He is one of the best coaches and mentor’s I know, and I’m lucky enough to have him be such a big part of my life."
